Wooden Hotel Key Cards

Wooden hotel key cards make the strongest impression when they feel like part of the property: real grain, clean room branding, subtle contactless marks, and a working RFID build matched to the lock system.

Lock compatibility first, visual finish second.

Hotel cards should be specified from the lock system outward. The chip family, encoding format, antenna behavior, card thickness, and final wood finish need to be tested on the actual lock or a confirmed reader before production.

A premium key card should still be operationally simple.

The best hotel designs use restrained logos, room or zone data, clear NFC or RFID icons where needed, and surfaces that housekeeping and front desk teams can handle repeatedly without confusing different room classes.
